Acceptable Use Policy for Livedocs Free Plan - guidelines for fair and responsible usage

Acceptable Use Policy – Free Plan

The Livedocs Free Plan is designed for small teams, startups, and individuals exploring the platform. We want to keep it fast, fair, and abuse-free. To that end, the following rules apply:

1. Intended Use

The Free Plan is meant for:

  • Personal projects
  • Prototyping and experimentation
  • Learning and evaluation
  • Small-scale, non-commercial workflows

If your usage exceeds these limits or is clearly production-scale, please upgrade to the Pro Plan.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Free Plan to:

  • Run large-scale or high-frequency production jobs
  • Perform automated scraping, brute force operations, or denial-of-service activities
  • Host public APIs or services that repeatedly query Livedocs resources
  • Mine cryptocurrency or perform unrelated high-compute workloads
  • Circumvent memory, CPU, or scheduling limits in any way
  • Share accounts across unrelated teams or organizations

3. Resource Limits

On the Free Plan:

  • Memory, CPU, and schedule limits are fixed — no workarounds allowed
  • Excessive usage may be throttled, paused, or terminated
  • Inactive workspaces may have their compute environment automatically shut down

4. Fair Use Enforcement

We actively monitor usage patterns to prevent abuse. If we detect:

  • Continuous heavy compute
  • Repeated cache-bypass for unnecessary queries
  • Overuse of AI credits for non-data-related tasks

…we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you see someone abusing the Free Plan or degrading service quality for others, please email us at team@livedocs.com.

Bottom line: The Free Plan is a shared community resource. Use it responsibly so everyone can benefit. Don’t be the reason we can’t have good things.
